Hey, gang - just another day at the office here in our li’l hobbit hole in Grand Rapids. Michigan is swinging into summer with hardly any thought to spring, and so it’s getting hotter. It’s one of the times we appreciate living half-underground like we do on the bottom floor of our apartment building - it stays nice and cool even on hot, hot days.
We’re an inch and a half from completing all final pencils for Uniques #7. Of course, we’ve also been lettering and getting flats finished and adjusted the whole way, so by the time we’re done here we’ll be ready to dive into the color with both feet. We suspect there won’t be much struggle with the color this issue, as it’s a more laid back affair. That doesn’t mean there won’t be some fireworks, but it’s a decidedly different speed than the last issue. After all that business with the Goth Girls, we could all use a little rest.
Here’s a preview of a couple finished pages. One updates the rough you saw before of Dreadnought and Agent 1 returning from a mission, the other has our kids doing what they do best - hanging out talking. Who says conversational comics are dead?

See you next week for more! -Adam & Comfort
